U.S. travel: Georgia’s Gone With the Wind trail brings history to life

The three-dimensional panorama of the Cyclorama realistically depicts 1864 Battle of Atlanta with life-sized characters, music, narration, and paintings. Groups of school children from across Georgia visit the Cyclorama as part of learning about Georgia history.

New tourist route traces all the key places behind Margaret Mitchell’s classic tale about war, love and lust in the Old South.
