Travel New Orleans: Big Easy known for its crazed debauchery, but the food is outstanding

Bananas Foster was created at Brennan’s Restaurant in New Orleans. It’s a tasty, low-cal dish with bananas, butter, sugar, rum and banana liqeur and it’s a hoot to watch them prepare it tableside.

From flaming bananas and shrimp gumbo to muffalettas and po’boy sandwiches, New Orleans deserves its reputation as a culinary king.
