Golf Travel: North Carolina boasts a lifetime’s worth of courses

The 18th hole at Nags Head in North Carolina's Outer Banks. The Wright Brothers made the Outer Banks famous but it's golf courses like Nags Head that now attracts visitors to the North Carolina coast.

The Tar Heel State is home to more than 550 courses, from seaside links to mountain clubs.
